CreativeContractRemote
Video Editor
You cut. Every piece reaches you with a written brief from the Creative Director: the hook, the structure, the b-roll, the on-screen text and the pacing. Your job is to make it land. This is beyond talking heads: cinematic pieces, skits, YouTube long-form and a steady run of short-form.
What you own
- Cutting to the brief: hook, structure, b-roll, text overlays, music and pacing
- Short-form for daily posting, and YouTube long-form every week
- Cinematic and skit edits where story and timing carry the piece
- Ads and VSLs for our ventures
- Captions checked against the audio, names and product terms spelled right
- Project files delivered with every finished piece
The output
Short-form
Two posts a day across the team
YouTube
One long-form video every week
Cinematic and skits
Narrative pieces beyond talking heads
Ads and VSLs
Marketing video for our ventures
What stays with us
- Ideas, scripts and titles
- The brief
- Review and sign-off
The standard
- Two revision rounds at most. If it needs a third, the brief was unclear, and that is on us
- Revision notes come as timestamped checklists, never as paragraphs
- Every deadline is agreed when the work is taken on
- Project files handed over within ten days of a piece publishing
- Written terms before any work: IP assignment, confidentiality, project file delivery
Who this is for
- You understand sequencing and storytelling, not only effects
- You can explain why a cut is where it is
- You have range beyond talking-head content
- You hit dates, and you say so early when you will not
